2025 QAL: Block 5

🌷 Block 5 is Here – Say Hello to the Tulip Block! 🌷

This month’s quilt block is inspired by one of my favorite springtime blooms — the tulip! Block 5 features a bold center accent, a light and dark pair for the tulip petals, green leaves, and plenty of background to let those colors pop. There’s a bit more cutting than usual this round, but don’t worry — once you’re ready to sew, it comes together surprisingly fast!

🧵 Important update on Block 4:
There was a lot of confusion last month with the flying geese. The original pattern used the 4-at-a-time method, but I’ve now added an option for the traditional method too. The cutting measurements in the first version were a little off — so if you lost your points, it might not have been you! The pattern has been corrected, and you can download the updated version if you’d like to redo the block.
