Brick House

Brick House: A Little Structure, a Lot of Fabric Fun!

Some fabrics deserve more than a tiny square in a quilt. If you’ve got a fat quarter bundle full of prints you love, Brick House gives you a reason to finally untie that ribbon!

This quilt pairs fabric rectangles with narrow sashing to create a staggered brick wall look. Those little strips between the prints make such a difference, giving each fabric its own space to shine while bringing everything together.

Join me for the livestream as we work through the two different row layouts and start putting them together. Grab your fabric and sew along, or come hang out and see how it’s done! If you can’t make it live, the replay will be here whenever you’re ready.

The finished quilt measures 49" × 63" and uses 12 fat quarters plus 1 yard of sashing fabric. Choose a favorite collection or pull together a mix from your stash. Have fun deciding which fabric will be the “mortar” between your bricks!
