Towel Lined Burp Cloth
Utility Cloth: A Fat Quarter, an Old Towel, and Something Useful!
Have an old towel that’s ready for a new job? Pair it with a fat quarter, and let’s turn it into something you’ll reach for every day!
This beginner-friendly project uses woven cotton with a towel layer tucked inside for extra absorbency. Use it as a baby burp cloth, a dish drying mat, or a handy cloth for drying your hair. Pick a print you love and make it your own!
Join me for the livestream as we put the layers together, sew, turn, and finish our cloth. There’s no template to print or trace, just a few straight cuts to get started. Grab your supplies and sew along, or come hang out! If you can’t make it live, the replay will be here whenever you’re ready.
You’ll need one fat quarter and an old hand towel. Wash and dry both before you begin to help prevent uneven shrinkage.
