What is a Livestream Raffle?

Hey! Every Friday at 8pm ET, I go live on YouTube to work on my projects and chill with my online sewing buddies (yup, that’s you!). I usually stream for about 2 hours, and sometimes I even surprise you with raffles for those tuning in live. Check out some common questions people ask about the livestream raffles below!

How do I enter a livestream raffle?

If the bot (Quilty Bot) is announcing there’s a raffle open in the livestream chat, you just need to type !raffle (all one word, no spaces) on a line all by itself. The bot will enter your name into the pool and respond to let you know you have a ticket.

How do I know if a raffle is happening?

If a raffle is live, Quilty Bot will continue to spam an announcement in the chat!

Are there rules for the raffles?

Yes, in order to be eligible to win, you need to meet the following requirements:

  1. Contestants must be watching live.

  2. Winner must be present when name is called & acknowledge bot when name is called.

  3. Winner has 24 hours to email a physical mailing address to Mary (mary@sewbecca.com) in order to claim prize.

How do I know if my prize has been mailed?

Once your package has been mailed, Mary will reply to your initial email - and if applicable, will give you a tracking number.

Are raffles open world wide?

Unless otherwise announced, yes! However, to help manage shipping costs, substitutions may be sent for international winners.

How do I claim my prize?

When the Quilty Bot tags you in the chat, make sure to respond, then send an email with your physical mailing address to mary@sewbecca.com.

Quilty Bot didn’t give me a ticket!

Sometimes, YouTube can’t keep up with all the chat commands Quilty Bot sends…and unfortunately, this means some folks that actually got a ticket never saw their name tagged. Don’t worry - you can only get 1 ticket, so the best course of action is to wait until the chat slows down just a tad and then enter !raffle again. If you already have a ticket, Quilty Bot will let you know. If you don’t have a ticket, Quilty Bot will give you one!
