2.5” Four Patch
Materials Needed
Fabric A: 2 pieces of 1½” x 1½”
Fabric B: 2 pieces of 1½” x 1½”
Fine Print
I would recommend tiny piecing for experienced Quilters.
This pattern assumes you know the basics of building these blocks and focuses on providing fabric requirements/cutting instructions and very high level piecing steps.
When tiny piecing, I find the following steps help alleviate some frustrations:
Reducing stitch length.
Pressing all seams open.
Using starch before cutting.
Starch, a clapper, and a wool press mat gets seams flat.
Instructions
Create Row 1 by sewing Fabric A to the left of Fabric B and press seam open.
Create Row 2 by sewing Fabric B to the left of Fabric A and press seam open.
Sew Row 1 above Row 2 ensuring middle points are lined up.
Press seam open and square (if needed) to 2½” x 2½”.
