Welcome to Loose Threads
This is where it all unravels, on purpose.
Each month kicks off with a Loose Threads post: a newsletter-style catch-up filled with life updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and a peek at what’s coming next. But that’s just the start.
This blog is a patchwork of everything I love: sewing inspiration, original patterns, favorite recipes, helpful how-tos, and the occasional creative brain dump. Whether you’re here for the quilts, the chaos, or just curious—there’s something for you tucked between the seams.

Monthly Catch-Up
August flew by in a blur of quilts, laughter, and even a little “cosmetology experiment” from Zoey (spoiler: it involved clippers 😳). While she was busy finding new career paths, I finished Porch Rails, started Tula’s Bloomers (my new obsession 💜), and made progress on several EPP projects . Plus shared new videos and quilt show highlights. September is shaping up to be just as exciting with a Sew-Along, VIP Zoom, BOM Block 10, and three of my quilts heading to the Virginia State Fair!
I can’t believe we’re already ushering in Summer! So many things to celebrate from May…and so much more to look forward to in June. Check out the newsletter to see what’s in store!
